Starting Something New!

Hi friends! If we haven't met quite yet, my name is Scarlett and I am a songwriter, but my favorite part of writing songs is coming up with poetic lyrics to convey what's in my heart in an abstract and meaningful way. That being said, I'm going to try my hand at starting a little poetry blog here on my website.

I'll post some of my own poems as well as poetry, lyrics, or books by other writers I'm loving at the moment! I think it's so cool that we get to use the gifts and creativity the Lord has given us to share our experiences with each other!

My poetry tends to focus on the topics of faith and faith struggles, the weight of anxiety, as well as romantic relationships in all their complexity.
